Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish – Interiors

Year Completed: 2007
Size: 11,000 SF

HMN Architects in association with Castrop Design Group provided the design for the complete renovation of the sanctuary, nave, narthex and ancillary support spaces for Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish.

Through close collaboration with the parish, the final design blends new materials and systems with existing features to provide a fresh yet familiar warmth, while holding to a tight budget.

The project included:

  • Custom baptistry
  • New lighting with computer control system adaptable for a variety of effects
  • New altar, icons and liturgical furnishings
  • Pews
  • New interior finishes (title, carpet, paint, trim, stained glass, etc.)

“We could not be more pleased with the results of HMN’s work. The project came out even better than I had imagined.”
Father Bob Stone, Pastor 1998-2009
