Our Lady of the Presentation Church – Interiors

Our Lady of the Presentation Church

Location: Lee’s Summit, Missouri
Year Completed: 2012
Size: 10,854 SF

Originally built in 1984, the existing worship facilities were worn, dated and inconsistent with current doctrines of Catholic worship.

HMN’s design team worked with the church’s building committee, sub-committees, liturgical consultant and diocese to not only “freshen up” the finishes, but also reconfigure the worship and fellowship environments.

Renovations were made to the church, narthex, vestibules, adoration chapel, sacristies and multi-purpose room. The integration of religious icons and new finishes, such as a Jerusalem stone veneer, porcelain tile, Venetian plaster with cast stone and hard wood trim accents, gave the space new life. The project also included new lighting, an HVAC system and a sound system.
