Law Enforcement Center

Working closely with the Sheriff and county staff, HMN Architects provided full architectural, interior design, and planning services for the new Law Enforcement Center. Through a collaborative approach, the team defined key program elements—including bed count, housing types, and required confinement levels – to produce a modern, efficient, and economical facility designed for long-term functionality.

The new jail includes 48 beds with the ability to expand to 60 beds through planned infill construction within the existing building envelope. Enhanced technology improves operational safety for both staff and inmates. The facility also creates an opportunity for revenue generation by housing inmates from neighboring counties when space is available.

Additional features include a dispatch and control center, staff offices, a reception area, inmate housing, and an indoor/outdoor exercise yard.
