Law Enforcement Center

HMN teamed with Architects Alliance, Inc. as the associate architect on the Cole County Law Enforcement Center. The facility includes a new 180-bed jail, Sheriff’s Office, kitchen, parking garage, and 42,000 square feet of shell space; featuring an entire floor beneath the housing unit planned to accommodate an additional 180 beds in the future. The design also incorporates large training areas to support staff development and regional instruction.

Located just a half block from downtown Jefferson City, Missouri, the project required careful integration with the monumental architecture of the State Capitol complex while maintaining robust security. HMN provided full design services for the jail, Sheriff’s Office, and the connecting link.
