The seven-story Elizabeth Hall Tower expands Children’s Mercy Hospital’s downtown campus with modern spaces that support the hospital’s most advanced pediatric services. Seamlessly linked to existing patient buildings, the tower houses radiology, clinical pharmacology, hematology/oncology, medical-surgical units, and both pediatric and neonatal intensive care.
A signature feature is the hospital’s first Perinatal Unit, designed for mothers with high-risk pregnancies to deliver close to the specialized neonatal care their infants may require. Positioned on the third floor, the unit connects directly to University Health Truman Medical Center through a secure, enclosed patient bridge, enabling immediate and coordinated care.
Elizabeth Hall Tower reinforces Children’s Mercy’s dedication to exceptional outcomes for mothers, infants, and children within a cohesive, fully integrated campus.
“HMN listens to what our needs are, what the needs of the children are and helps us create an environment that works for Children’s Mercy. HMN has been a partner and taken all of that input to really create a space that works."
