Durrie Vision

HMN Architects, in collaboration with HNTB, designed Durrie Vision’s relocated and expanded office to support its growing patient demand. The 50% increase in medical office space, from 10,000 to 15,000 SF, allowed the addition of a state-of-the-art laser suite. The thoughtfully planned environment enhances the patient experience while providing advanced surgical technology and functional, collaborative spaces for staff, positioning Durrie Vision at the forefront of laser vision correction.

The renovation was thoughtfully designed to serve both staff and patients, organizing the medical office into three key areas: the eye clinic, the Lasik suite, and administrative spaces. The eye clinic features a reception desk, 11 exam rooms, testing areas, counselor offices, and staff workspaces. The expanded Lasik suite now includes three laser vision correction suites, including a dedicated SMILE laser surgery suite equipped with a VisuMax femtosecond laser, as well as a sub-sterile room, four pre- and post-exam rooms, testing areas, and supporting spaces. Administrative areas include offices, a break room, and conference rooms, providing functional support for staff operations.
