HMN Architects provided on-call architectural services to Pittsburg State University on multiple projects. These projects included:

Brandenburg Scholarship House

This project involved a feasibility study of retrofitting an existing fraternity house into a presidential scholarship house. The interior of the house was gutted and the exterior was completely renovated. The study included architectural planning, MEP upgrading, structural repairs, and exterior renovations.

Bonita Terrace Housing

This project involved the evaluation of an existing 30-unit housing complex to be turned into married student housing. The study included interior conditions, site drainage, structural conditions, carports, driveways, and more.

Russ Hall Exterior Renovation

This project involved evaluating and documenting procedures for restoration of the brick and terracotta front façade of Russ Hall administration building. The work included bidding and construction phase observation services.

Yates Hall Exterior Renovation

This project involved evaluating and documenting procedures for the restoration of limestone panel joints and panels of the east and west facades of Yates Hall. The work included bidding and construction phase observation services.

Gibson Hall Interior Redesign

This project involved a renovation of the main student dining hall, including an upgrade of all interior finishes and lighting, as well as a reconfiguration of the serving stations to reflect the current scramble concept of food service. In addition, new food service equipment was provided to support the serving stations.
