HMN Architects has designed a new emergency department for Morris County Hospital. It includes trauma, critical care, and exam rooms located near a centralized nurse station. Also included in the project is a new ambulance garage addition with storage and a decontamination room.

Welcoming patients to the newly remodeled areas is a new stone and glass entrance canopy to allow patients to be dropped off and enter right into the department.

A new helipad, with straight access to the emergency department, brings a heightened ability for the hospital to handle emergency patients, day or night.
Two new LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum) suites were created with comfort in mind with spa-like finishes and a jacuzzi tub in each bathroom.
