Construction will begin this summer on renovations and expansion to Holton Community Hospital, a critical access hospital located Holton, Kansas.

The total project cost will be approximately $17.6 million. The project will be the most significant expansion taken on by the hospital in their 20+ year history.

The existing inpatient bed unit, emergency department, specialty clinic, and surgery department will be renovated and expanded to provide a more efficient clinical environment. The infusion treatment radiology waiting, registration, and other public areas in the existing facility will also be renovated.

The new, two-story addition will be attached to the existing hospital and include a new entrance lobby with a covered drop-off canopy. The Rural Health Clinic will be located on the first floor, and the administrative and support spaces will be located on the second floor.
